Giddy Up - Sold Out

Guided two-hour horseback ride. Learn about the Red Mountain Wilderness area. You will view the Snow Canyon and West Canyon overlooks. The experienced and knowledgeable guide will share information about this area's history, geology, flora, and fauna. The only restriction is that the max weight is 240, but have to be over 5'8" to be over 200.

Meeting Location: Meet at the Red Mountain Trailhead. Take SR 18 north. Trailhead is located just past entrance of Snow Canyon State Park, to Red Mountain Trailhead.

Foodie (and History) Field Trip - Sold Out

The Foodie Field Trips Walking Tour in St. George's historic district includes stops to sip, sample, sightsee and shop. Your guides will share local history, culture and fun facts while escorting you from tasting to tasting. Your food tour starts with an authentic treat from one of St. George’s most popular Mexican restaurants. You will also enjoy a signature dish at a lively pub, a stop at an upscale bakery, and a tasting at a new hot spot. We visit a St. George landmark and finish with an iconic sweet treat at a local museum. You will walk a total of 1.1 miles, broken into segments.

Meeting Location: Meet at Pioneer Courthouse 97 E. St. George Blvd.

What to Bring: Your appetite, and a tip for your guides, if you feel so inclined.

Viva Via Ferrata - Sold Out

11:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Explore the Above Zion via ferrata (get a preview) in the Kolob Terrace section of Zion National Park. Stellar views, adventures, etc. Guided adventure and all equipment is provided, and no climbing experience is necessary. If you can climb a ladder and hike a couple miles, you can do this. Total distance 3 miles.

Meeting Location: Shuttle from Dixie Center to Site will be provided

What to Bring: Bring 2 liters of water in a backpack or camelback; comfortable clothing that is appropriate to the season; as well as trail runners or hiking shoes – no open-toed shoes or sandals; a baseball cap to wear under the provided helmet; any snacks you wish. Be prepared to tip your guides (normally a $195 experience) for an excellent experience.

Attendees may not make it back in time to change for dinner after this activity. Please pack a change of clothes with you.

ATV & Jeep Adventure Tour - Sold Out

Guided tour in razors at Sand Mountain. The colors of the desert and red rock come alive with scenic views in every direction of Sand Hollow Reservoir, Pine Valley Mountain and on a clear day you can even see the mountain peaks of Zion National Park.

Tee it Up at Copper Rock - Sold Out

Play 18 holes at one of the premier and newest golf courses in Greater Zion. Copper Rock in Hurricane is home to one of the stops on the Epson LPGA Tour and has been voted by locals to be the Best Golf Course in Southern Utah in consecutive years. Tee it up and discover the stunning vistas and experience golf like never before. Rental clubs available for a fee.

Tee'd Up To The Nines

Dixie Red Hills was the first golf course in Greater Zion. It is well-known, beloved by all who play it and credited with elevating the local golf scene and tourism in general to the high caliber they are today. Experience this iconic 9-hole course for yourself with its beautiful red rocks, excellent playability for all skill levels and shady layout that is perfect for summertime play. Clubs are available to rent for a fee, but don’t forget your best walking shoes – no carts available at this experience.

Take on Tuacahn

Go behind the scenes on this walking tour at Utah's largest theater! Learn how Tuacahn’s spectacular Broadway in the Canyon productions come together. Visit the backstage areas, green room, costume shop, scene shop and more! You'll even get to visit our animal actors AND see live pyro on stage! Enjoy lunch (included) with a view of the Amphitheatre and red rock canyon provided by the Tuacahn Cafe. If schedules permit, there will be a Q&A with Tuacahn actors and esteemed officials. This live tour will intrigue you with bits of Tuacahn trivia from the past 28 years along with surprises along the way!

Life's a Beach: Quail Creek Paddleboarding, Kayaking and More

Take some time to soak in the beauty of Quail Creek State Park -- its white-sand beach, the calm waters, and the beautiful stacked-rock surroundings. D.I.G. Paddlesports onsite will equip you with paddleboards, kayaks, and/or water carpets. Or seek out the remote-controlled cars and race them around the lakeside track. Snacks and beverages available onsite.

What to Bring: Bring your state park pass, if you have it; towels; bathing suits; sunscreen, water and any snacks you wish.

Making Babies: Wire Mesa Mountain Bike Ride - Sold Out

If the JEM Network and Gooseberry Mesa had a baby it would be Wire Mesa. This seven-mile trail offers a variety of intermediate singletrack and slickrock, combined with amazing vantage points overlooking Zion and Grafton Ghost Town. This is one of the newest and friendliest trails in Greater Zion, and has quickly become a local favorite. This is for intermediate riders, guided by local expert.

Holy Guacamole Mountain Bike Ride

1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Guacamole is a five-mile trail that's a blast to ride with some singletrack thrown in and lots of slick-rock-type riding and rad technical features. You are almost touching West Temple and Mount Kinesava in Zion National Park. On the other side, you will be looking out over the valley with spectacular view of Pine Valley Mountain on the west side of St. George. This is for intermediate riders, guided by a local expert.

E-Bike and Hike Snow Canyon State Park - Sold Out

Take a guided e-bike tour of Snow Canyon State Park, a gem of Greater Zion. Enjoy breathtaking views with several stop-offs for short hikes to dive deeper into the park and its treasures. Snow Canyon rangers will be on hand to introduce you to the critters that call the park home. Bring your camera to capture all the awe inspiring moments. E-bike rental provided.

Greetings from the Desert! Linocut Card Printing Workshop - Sold Out

Get your creativity flowing and join MakeSpace Studios in Kayenta. Led by talented local artist Carol Bold, participants will learn the basics of relief printmaking, from designing and carving to inking and printing their very own set of custom greeting cards. No prior experience is necessary, but it is recommended that participants bring a sketchbook or some inspiration of their own. Be inspired by our Southern desert surroundings.
