Michelle became Beaver County’s first-ever Recreation and Tourism Director at a time when the County was struggling to find its tourism identity. Since assuming her role as Director, Michelle has completed two rebranding projects to unify the county’s residents and define its voice, all while marketing its natural attractions. Michelle has a thick skin in the face of detractors and vocal opposition and has worked hard to educate local leaders on the benefits branding, marketing, and tourism have on the community. Michelle is personally an outdoor enthusiast and is often found lowering herself off the ledge in canyoneering, exploring slot canyons and packing tripping with her horse through the mountains.
